Learn to Sail along the beautiful Dalmatian coast of Croatia
Saturday, August 26 to Saturday, September 2, 2017 (7 days)
Discover the land National Geographic Magazine calls “enchanting” and Game of Thrones fans know as “King’s Landing” while sailing around the many islands of Croatia during a retreat hosted by Josephine Dorado and Juergen Woeckl.
We’ve teamed up to bring you a one-week sailing retreat in which you’ll be able to learn how to sail on the calm seas of the Adriatic, or just relax with stunning views of the surrounding Dalmatian Coast. There are many more activities, like day trips, wine tastings, kayaking, climbing, windsurfing, kite surfing, snorkeling, cycling or just lounging on the boat, that will introduce you to this gorgeous destination.
Surrounded by secluded inlets laced with limestone cliffs and framed by turquoise blue water, Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast enchants with its rich history, rugged islands and hidden coves. We’ll sail over the azure waters, and you’ll also be able to venture into the lush hills of the Peljesac Peninsula while enjoying a range of activities like day trips and energizing treks. Activities like kayaking, hiking, climbing and wine tastings are also available. You’ll be able to sail to the island of Mljet, where Odysseus found his paradise and follow it with a wine tasting; climb the rock faces of Hvar, which also houses some of the richest Croatian cultural heritage; explore the famed Walls of Ston, dated back to the 14th and 15th centuries and known as the “European Great Wall of China” or take the ‘Game of Thrones’ walking tour of Dubrovnik. There is much to be experienced in this breathtaking region.
Everyday you can push your limits or simply enjoy the beauty of the Adriatic. Reconnect with nature while sailing in an environment full of beauty and energy.
